There isn't too much to say about this "film" as I could only sit through the first 30 minutes then stopped watching it - acting is awful and unbelievable, as if it weren't actors but dummies with speech synthesizers, shooting is also beyond edible.
The plot is absolutely unrealistic, some details are mentioned then swiftly forgotten, events aren't coherent.
There isn't a single thing to cling to, this was shot straight for TV, it's nowhere near good film standards.
I'm not even sure why Sean Bean singed onto this film, probably he's got no other contract obligations or he is on the decline (I haven't recently seen him in any decent movie).
Avoid this film at all costs.

This was the first time we actually saw the teenage love Shakespeare intended. Years and years before Leonardo Di Caprio and Clare Danes, Leonard Whiting and Olivia Houssey gave life to the tragic story told in this ancestral tale, revamping it without betraying it, making it accessible to a 60s audience without updating it. Leonard and Olivia were so beautiful that Shakespeare became trendy again and I don't mean any disrespect by it, I'm simply stating a fact. The real, stunning, dusty locations, the costumes, the faces, the music made the whole thing a totally new Shakespearen experience. Remember than the biggest screen adaptation of this play had been with the forty something Leslie Howard and Norma Shearer in those roles. Here everything reeked of youth underlining the tragedy in the most cinematic way. Another important point is to confirm that in 2007 the film still feels young and fresh. Recommended

I think the movie was quite entertaining. The fight scenes were great, perhaps not as superb as fight scenes in Jet Li movies (like Fearless), but close enough.
I feel the director sort of copied from older works like Forbidden Kingdom (drunken master but same director), The Drunken Master, Fearless (the whole tiger claw thing --> five venom finger fist). I really don't know why they perpetuate this drunken master idea.
I only wish they used the characters God of Wushu and Old Sage more in the film. I don't like it when a hero is victorious alone, he should be victorious with team effort (which would be more realistic).
Regardless, the fight scenes make up for the film. There is a ton of action, much in the sense of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. The emotional scenes were pretty good, but nothing unique. I think you'll enjoy watching this in the movies, so don't think it's not worth your money, the amount of fight scenes will cover that.

Yep, i too expected this to be a comedy, like the cover and some screen stills would say. You know, like Scary Movie kind of comedy. I wasn't expecting anything good but this is just straight up porn. The movie has at least 5 sex scenes that each last around 10 minutes and its just porn music playing and showing sex, mostly soft core but you can see a genital here and there too.
The plot is the boring part to be honest and consists of the main character just wandering around and speaking in monologue, finding new places to have a peepshow into these vampires having sex.
Don't bother watching if you want a comedy, and don't bother watching if you want porn since it doesn't really show anything :D On the plus side a couple of the girls are pretty hot though.
